The (NOT SO) Skinny Girl

If you're an American woman, 3/8/17 is "A Day Without Women", modeled after "A Day Without Immigrants". HERE WE GO AGAIN  (I almost sound like Graham Allan ).... The website for International Women's Day challenges you to "call on yourself to help forge a better working world". The organizers behind the January "Women's March on Washington" have also organized and planned walkouts, rallies and marches dubbed "A Day Without a Woman".Women are not only encouraged to stay home from [paid] work, but also to (if socially and economically able to do so) abstain from [unpaid]housework and child care, and shop only at small, women-owned businesses. So basically... shirk all of your responsibilities in general  and go shopping   to make a point.  NO RESPONSIBILITY NO ACCOUNTABILITY NO F**KS GIVEN.... It seems the idea of being a 'housewife' is outdated, and is now widely considered a negative thing. I think that people who don't revere it, know nothing about it. People who think that running the household or child-rearing is not the most important thing a woman- or any parent can do- or that a woman can do so much more than the 'petty nuances of a stay at home mom'- this one is for you! Because, as a wife, I beg to differ. And the bible, an ancient text with so much profound wisdom to offer, actually states a wife's character is nothing short of NOBLE. One weekend: Many events! polo match at my home field :( wine tasting/festival a local German Oktoberfest that my friends bought leiderhosen for San Gennaro festival in NYC Renaissance Faire NJ historic haunted Mill tour and ghost hunt and of course birthday/bachelorette bash out of state<-- attending I have a feeling there's like 3 other things but I can't remember them at this moment.... #firstworldproblems
