The (NOT SO) Skinny Girl

 So the title of this post is a little misleading if you don't have some background info. 3 MILLENIAL WOMEN, in very different places in their lives- both literally and figuratively- walk into a bar... sort of.  This past week, despite Covid-19 still looming, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with two of my best friends. All in our 30s, all living in different states, all leading very different lifestyles. The two  East Coast gals rode together to the very start of the 'Mid West' to re-unite with the 3rd... it had probably been years since the 3 of us were together like this.  Just a little background info on the 3 women, to set the scene J1- 33, lives in NJ with her husband, daughter (2), baby #2 on the way, and dog. Has a bachelor's degree, owns her own business and works for herself, joint owns a house and car with her immigrant hubby who does white collar work in the budding cannabis industry (pun intended). J2- 32, lives in Mass. Never married, has 2...

This is a serious topic of discussion on 'the right'. Not even the far right... the center right.  I don't know what the spectrum is for "political or world views" but I'd have to say I hang to the right and the conservative. Which sounds so weird, because CONSERVATIVE is not really ever a word I'd use to describe myself.  During the election, I took polls and tests to tell me what I was and tell me what candidates I aligned with on what issues. Gary Johnson was my man, I was loving the Johnson. No feeling the Bern, Bern just sounds like a bad feeling.  But conservative? Meeeh... I'm used to not finding a category I fit into. 68 % conservative: You believe in personal responsibility, limited government, free markets, individual liberty, traditional American values and a strong national defense. Believe the role of government should be to provide people the freedom necessary to pursue their own goals.  You are 52% conservative and 48% liberal, ...

While I was typing the ignoRANT post, my husband was like "Are you typing a blog or a novel?" He then told me Blogs should be short and sweet because no one is gonna spend the time to read the whole long, drawn out, story posts.  So that's my question to you- is there a "way" to blog? noun 1 . a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style. ... informal (that's my style) or conversational (I love to converse) style. Um, check! So, are these posts supposed to be short and snappy or short and sweet and to the point .....or...... Do you, out there on the good ole interwebs, not mind reading a little more something something, as long as it's not in God-forsaken slideshow style that takes forever to view?
