Viva Las Vegas

There is EVIL in this world. There is no situational ethics involved here... it is not comprehensible what leads people to this kind of evil. Since the beginning of time, there have been bad people doing bad things because EVIL lives among us. It is part of the world, in equality with the parts of LOVE and GOODNESS. 58 people(do not count the vile creature that did this) lost their lives while trying to enjoy themselves- while relaxing, having fun... and less than an hour after joining together as a crowd to sing "GOD BLESS AMERICA". I was appalled, I was sick to my stomach, I was panicked, I was sad, I was angry. I am 2,555 miles away from this tragedy. Every side in America cares deeply about the lives lost in this tragedy, we just have different solutions to this kind of ...thing. This kind of event. This kind of horrible, tragic disaster. We all care about what happened in Vegas- we all just disagree about the policy. The 2nd amendment, when writte...

Rant of the day...

A "news outlet" aired a video of a Texas Mayor saying he is  "more fearful of large gatherings of young white men that come into schools, theaters and shoot people up"  than any Muslim or refugee. Now that's all fine and dandy. Everyone is entitled to their opinion- and Texas has a very large Muslim population. It also has had multiple incidents of "mass" (4 or more dead) shootings perpetrated by both Muslims and whites. Of course people are quick to jump on his bandwagon and say that white people are the devil. UM, WHAT? So the majority of the country is "the devil"... ? My original comment to this video is : "It's actually not large gatherings of white men who do these terrible things... it's isolated incidents of individuals. And yes some are white. Except the Orlando shooter and the San Bernadino shooter and the Virginia Tech shooter, the Boston marathon bombers (pretty sure they were considered refugees) and oh yeah t...

"protesting"....

I can see the point to protesting, I really can. The right to protest injustice is actually ingrained into our culture- down to the very roots of America. There is something very wrong with our society and scary things happening at an alarming rate. This is APPARENT. There is UNREST. There is INEQUALITY . There are things happening that have NO RHYME OR REASON. To an open minded and accepting individual, there is a huge problem and no solution in sight. I don't want to pick sides. I want to say that both sides have an equal responsibility in escalating this situation. Point fingers all you want, but cops don't gun down people who are standing there minding their own business. That has not happened ONCE. Cops don't go after people because without REASON. Whatever the reason is. A merchant called the cops because of loitering and dealing going on in his parking lot, it resulted in a death. A bystander called the cops to report an abandoned vehicle in the middle...

All Lives Matter Pt.3 - Let's talk about cops

Here's a thought: How often have you encountered a police officer? me: Possibly too often. I get pulled over a lot. There are often officer patrolling events I am at. I'm in cities a lot where they are working traffic. I also have one as a family member and a few as close personal acquaintances. What is your overall opinion of the officers you have had contact with? me: I'd say they're about 50% douschey and 50% stand up people. Even a stand up person can be a dousche sometimes. Even a dousche can be a stand up person sometimes. My officer family member would give the shirt off his back, is a family man, probably has his douschey "I'm a cop" moments but otherwise is a great guy. ONE TIME... I got pulled over and an officer approached my vehicle with his hand on his gun and yes, I feared for my life. I was afraid and scared and I didn't know why he would do this. After speaking with my family member about the incident, he said that the officer I e...

It made me laugh... #guncontrol

tragedy strikes again...what's your take on 'Gun Violence'?

By now it's all over the news... Gun violence  TRAGEDY strikes again. And now you will see things like this: or   or   or So I ask you- What is your opinion? Because you know I'm going to give you mine. Here goes (haters gonna hate, but whatever): #1- There are victims. They are PEOPLE. They are brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, husbands and wives, friends, lovers, men, women, gay, straight, white, black, Latino, unknown ethnicity. They are PEOPLE. They were there at a place that should be a judgement free safe-heaven. It was labeled as supportive of a certain sector. They went there without fear, without hate. And Hate and Fear found them.... This is a HATE CRIME and the reason for it is FEAR. Fear of something different that results in hate, hate and fear because someone doesn't understand (or doesn't want to). Hate and Fear invokes violence in people. Hate and Fear influences people. Other factors are (almost) irrelevant to th...
