Because the world needs more positivity in it........

Some thoughts on how to live a better, more positive life 💖 Live beneath your means Return everything you borrow Give clothes not worn to charity Do something nice and try not to get caught Don’t make excuses Don’t argue Stop blaming other people Admit when you make a mistake Listen more, talk less Be kind to people Be kind to unkind people Let someone cut ahead of you in line Be on time Get organized Strive for excellence, not perfection Take time to be alone Cultivate good manners Be humble Realize and accept that life isn’t fair Stop creating unrealistic expectations Know when to keep your mouth shut Go an entire day without criticizing anyone Go an entire day with smile on your face Everyday take a 30 minute walk Learn from the past  --  Plan for the future  --  Live in the present Don’t sweat the small stuff (it’s almost all small stuff). Don't forget- we were born to be REAL, not perfect.

A little MORE about me

It has come to my attention that people have no problem disregarding my voice, my opinion, my outlooks, my feelings, and my attempts to rationalize the craziness that is going on in the world- and it seems to me that it's because they are too busy generalizing me and who I am and that based on their assumptions they are unwilling to see me fit to also have a say. So let me tell you a little MORE about me. I think this should be made into a video to start my vlog channel. Hi. I'm Jasmine. People call me Jazzy, Feisty, Jersey. Call me basic bitch for all I care. I'm white . I'm female . I fall into that 21-40 age range. I'm short. I have some sort of Italian American heritage that is noticeable in the way I talk loudly and using exaggerated hand gestures, the way (and amount of food) I cook, and my overall persona- some would even say I have an accent. I grew up in suburban, urban, and rural America. I'm some sort of educated... I have a high sc...

Be the change you want to see in the world

I will not bash anyone - even though I really want to. But- positive vibes win http://www.dallasnews.com/news/metro/20150131-ex-nfl-linebacker-gets-a-fresh-start-giving-others-a-fresh-start.ece And there is a video on Upworthy Here's how I see it. Former NFL player- not even a super good one and he kinda knows that- he got injured, got addicted to the painkillers, knew he had a problem and he asked people to help him. He embraced it and got himself help and made himself better. He re-evaluated his life and said "what can I be if I can't be a football player"? He decided to start an elite athlete training gym. Pretty cool. He found a way to exist without drugs, without football, and made something of himself. And then one day he sees someone way down in the pits of despair. He finds out the guy is an army veteran, he's addicted to drugs because they stopped giving him the painkillers, and he sleeps with a gun - just in case. That's when something mira...

are you successful??

The hardest thing we face as individuals is making a commitment to our individual success. Career success has been rammed down our throats. I mean, we make believe we are grown-ups. We dream of being firefighters, police officers, Doctors, ETC. We dream and play and pretend as kids to do all these grown-up things. And then we work towards it. We learn to read and write. We learn to speak, and then to engage in conversation. We learn motor skills and hone higher levels of thinking. When we were children, we could honestly say we learned something or bettered ourselves every single day. Don't just focus on your career. A career doesn't hug you when you're sad, or listen when you need to talk, or curl up next to you each night. A bank account doesn't console you when you've lost a parent, sibling, spouse, friend, or child. A nice car won't surprise you with dinner or send you a card on your birthday.  I challenge anyone that considers themselves worth the chal...
