A woman for President?

I was not against a black man for president. I was FOR his charismatic speeches that had grand ideas, which never came to fruition. I was also young and dumb. I also did not like the other candidate as much. So I cast a vote and hoped and hoped this man, no matter what color his skin was, he would hold true to his word.
And there was a lot of disappointment. But there will always be. And I will remind the American public why- there is only so much the President of the United States can ACTUALLY DO. There is a system of checks and balances set up that restricts the President :

That's just a little flashback to grade school when they taught us this. The president as a person does actually very little- but they are our elected representative to carry out the overall will and laws of the people and country as a whole.
That being said... Now it's an uproar and a celebration because the first woman has won the presidential nomination. I'm a woman, girl power! But did you know?? Hillary is NOT the first one to be nominated? Did everyone forget that The Green Party made history when it nominated the first all-women-of-color presidential ticket in US history. Former Democratic Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, who was the first African American woman elected to Congress in Georgia, won the Green Party’s nomination in 2008. Or how about Jill Stein in 2012? Actually, if you follow the Green party, she's running AGAIN this year.
But this woman? What do we know about HER. That is really what people should be pondering.
-She claimed they were "broke" when they left the white house and could barely afford their "mortgages" (sounds like she has multiple properties... first world problems)
- She hasn’t driven a car Since 1996? (how does she get around?)
- As secretary of state she visited 112 countries and traveling 956,733 miles.

-This e-mail scandal.... where she became Secretary of State and choose to use
an email account housed on a private server. At the time, the State Department's policy stated that "normal day-to-day operations" were to be conducted on an authorized syst
em. Here's some of the finer points that you should know:
April 2015 Mrs. Clinton announces her candidacy for president.
July 2015 Government investigators say they found classified information in emails from Mrs. Clinton’s server. The emails were not marked classified at the time, and it is unclear if Mrs. Clinton knew that the information was classified. (Isn't that part of her job??)
January 2016 The State Department announces that it will not release 22 emails that contain “top secret” material. The classifications of the emails were increased after the fact; they were not marked when they were sent. Three days later, the first presidential primary is held in Iowa.
May 2016 The State Department’s inspector general releases a report criticizing Mrs. Clinton’s use of the private server, saying that she should have asked for approval and that she violated department policies by not surrendering her emails before leaving office.
She commands speaking fees in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. (She also requests Hummus and Crudites to be on hand for her snacking pleasure)
-Highlights:
She  serves on the board of the Clinton Foundation, which has battled against HIV and AIDS in Africa, invested in clean energy in Haiti and fought for equal opportunity for women and girls around the globe.
-She has a daughter named Chelsea who stays out of the limelight, Chelsea has a daughter named Charlotte.
-She met Bill at the library at Yale
-Her father was a REPUBLICAN and her mother was a "closet democrat"
-
she was originally a Republican— she was elected president of the Wellesley College Young Republicans Club
-She is known for mishandling the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi
-
Clinton’s 2016 campaign announcement was a video

In 1997, she won a Grammy for best spoken word for her audiobook, “It Takes a Village.”
If it wasn’t for Hillary Clinton, the Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission case, which turned campaign finance law inside out
, would not have likely come before the Supreme Court.
-Hillary was an accomplished attorney. She once got a client (she was reluctant to take him) 1 year in prison and 4 years probation for raping a 12-year old girl (instead of the 40-year sentence they proposed). Lawyers are required to zealously advocate for their clients whether they believe they are right or wrong (because they are BEING PAID TO?). She claims they won the case due to "unreliable polygraphs".
-Clinton has written two memoirs, Hard Choices, which covers her time as secretary of state, and Living History, which covers her early life through her time as first lady.

There are, without a doubt, a lot of NEGATIVE things about this woman, as a person, as a political figure, as a representative of a nation/of a people.

I'm not on her train. I'm not on any train. I just wanted to put some info out there. Happy Election season!

Everyone's thinking it, I'm asking: Is today's left wing liberalism a mental illness?

This is a serious topic of discussion on 'the right'. Not even the far right... the center right. The " 68 % conservatives", the "Centrists", the "Young Outsiders", and the "Somewhat Liberals".  I don't know what the spectrum is for "political or world views" but I'd have to say I hang to the right and the conservative. Which sounds so weird, because CONSERVATIVE is not really a word I'd  ever  use to describe myself. But I talked about this in past blog posts... today's topic is, are people on the FAR LEFT suffering from mental illness? My psychologist sister would have you believe that everyone suffers from some form of mental illness in varying degrees. I suffer from anxiety which induces depression. FUN! The anxiety is inherited, the depression is what occurs when you stop learning how to cope with new or prolonged anxiety inducing situations. Anxiety is a product of chemical imbalance, it can be trea

Kevin Hart has said what every normal person feels/believes...

As I sit here in my pajamas, trying to finish eating cold oatmeal and drink cold coffee, with my 3 month old daughter fussing at my side- the little dictator that she is- I say to myself, "Wow, if only 20-year-old me could see me now". What do I mean when I say that? I mean I was pretty much hell on wheels until I was 28. A hot mess for too long. In no way a role model or even proud of myself for .... anything really. I didn't speak eloquently or smartly, I was often not a respectful person towards other, I was probably down right insensitive. And I was kinda a tramp. Not exactly the kind of person you'd want around kids or even to take home to meet Mom and Grandma. But, hey- PEOPLE CHANGE. In the words of Kevin Hart: "   If you don't believe that people change, grow, evolve as they get older, I don't know what to tell you. If you want to hold people in a position where they always have to justify or explain their past, then do you."   Can we all

Zoey Tur V Ben Shapiro... feelings V facts

There is a video of a Trans man (a man who charades as a woman of sorts?) named Zoey Tur (Inside Edition reporter) engaging in a conversation with Ben Shapiro (Breitbart News senior editor-at-large). It seems they were supposed to be having some sort of debate about whether Caitlin Jenner, also trans (a man who charades as a woman of sorts?), deserved the "woman of the year award" for 'bravery'. It erupted when Ben stated that Caitlin is in no way a woman, and neither is Zoey, because- FACTS. Fav line ever:  "Facts don't care about your feelings." Ben refuses to live in Zoey's reality. Ben refuses to accept things that are not based on facts. Ben sees the facts and will not be bullied into saying, doing, or believing anything illogical. At one point, the panel started getting raucous and off topic, so Ben Shapiro asked if the discussion was supposed to be on genetics and asked Zoey, “What are your genetics, sir?” (because, FACTS) Zoey proceeded
